Short background:

Midorima Shintaro is the second minister of the Mireplad to date. He had been an independent economist working for TS Associates for 3 years before working in the government as regional development office head. He had also been a consultant for multinational companies such as SZT Group of Companies, Ayala Corporation and Yotsuba Financial Group. Shintaro is a close friend of Teiko Premier Akashi Seijuro. Currently, he lives with his husband, Takao Kazunari and their two adopted sons in Shutoku.
